CDP 791® (PEGylated anti-GFR antibody fragment) is in development for the treatment of a broad range of solid tumors. Nektar, in partnership with UCB Pharma is enabling this development with our proprietary Advanced PEGylation Technology. CDP 791 is an extremely high-affinity PEGylated humanized antibody fragment directed against a growth factor receptor (GFR). Research suggests that antibodies that block receptors for certain growth factors may inhibit angiogenesis, and when used in conjunction with existing chemotherapeutic regimes, have the potential to treat a broad range of solid tumors. |
