We support employee and corporate programs that donate time and resources to philanthropic organizations to help advance disease research, provide educational opportunities, and benefit local communities.

Employee Philanthropic Activities

The San Carlos and Mountain View employees of Nektar have established and currently manage the Nektar Employee Foundation, a separate non-profit organization funded solely by employees and which makes contributions to local philanthropic events and organizations.

Our Huntsville employees support the local Christmas Commandos program, Red Cross blood drives, and the local chapter of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.

Corporate Sponsorships for Relevant Patient and Local Communities

We provide sponsorships for not-for-profit health care, research and education organizations. Examples include the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Lung Association.

Nektar and its employees are actively involved in the local community through a variety of nonprofit efforts and community-sponsored events.
