Nektar Therapeutics develops and enables high-value, differentiated therapeutics with our industry-leading drug delivery technologies, expertise and manufacturing capabilities. The world’s top biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies use our advanced technologies and know-how for innovative therapeutics that are on the market and under development.

We are also developing our own clinical pipeline of products designed to enhance performance of existing medicines, such as improving efficacy, safety and compliance. By leveraging our technologies and expertise with existing medicines, we are identifying unique product opportunities that will enable us to build a high-value pipeline. These programs offer us a lower risk profile with potential excellent returns-on-investment compared with typical new drug development programs.

Nektar is poised for growth, with its flagship partnered product, Exubera®, approved for the treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes patients in both the U.S. and the EU, a diverse clinical pipeline of partnered products, and new, innovative proprietary products in the areas of anti-infectives, pain and oncology.
